This is looking to be a fabulous year. I don't think I can say it any plainer than that. Currently I've got some submissions out and I'm still working on FALLING AGAIN, and the rest of the year is looking stellar. The holidays slowed things down a bit (don't they always?), but I've recently discovered some new depths to my characters that are propelling me into the second half of my story with crunch, texture, and conflicts galore!

I'm going to two conferences this year, including my addiction, RWA Nationals in Nashville in July. (Nashville--that is going to be such a hoot!) I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with some friends, with meeting some internet friends, and just soaking up that writing vibe! (And Nashville, did I mention Nashville? Right by the Grand Ole Opry?)

I've also got some other events on tap, events meant to relax, inspire, and really spark that crazy-creative part of my brain. Some are still in the works, so I'm keeping them a little hush-hush for now, but pop over to my Twitter or Facebook pages, and you'll hear more as they unfold.

I'm entered in a few contests, including my current Holy Grail, the Golden Heart. The good thing is between the response I'm getting to BROKEN and the way FALLING AGAIN is going, I'm okay with however those contests end up. (And Nationals? In Nashville? That is a balm for any wounded writing soul.) And more lines in the water are good, right?
